“Some say the Unknown Traveller is an exiled king of rhythm who has lost his kingdom and now roams incognito through clubs and halls. When the enemy troops of silence draw near, he has already vanished, leaving only an echo behind. Then, weeks later, he turns up in a completely different place, where rumours of his presence suddenly begin to circulate. Is it the band? Is it the listener themselves who recognises their own lost kingdom in the deep frequencies of the bass and the choppy drum patterns? In 2026, this fleeting rumour materialised in the form of the first 3-track EP. Not a loud bang, but a pulsating signal from the underground. What comes next lies hidden in the mist. Further releases and dates are in the pipeline, but as with everything concerning the Unknown Traveller, the rule applies: if you want to know the exact location, you’ll be too late. You have to be where the sound is right now.”
